Welcome to JKitchenCooks. By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or subscribing to our meal prep services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General Overview

JKitchenCooks operates as a high-end, premium meal prep service, providing fresh, fully prepared culinary dishes directly to our customers. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides us with the online e-commerce platform to sell our premium products and services to you.

2. Subscription Model & Curated Plans

Our business operates primarily on a recurring subscription model to ensure a frictionless, white-glove service.

  • Available Plans: Customers may choose from tiered weekly plans consisting of 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 meals.

  • Add-Ons: Subscribers have the option to add optional items to their weekly boxes, including freshly prepared breakfasts and fresh juices.

  • Subscription Management: All subscriptions are managed via a third-party subscription engine (such as Recharge) integrated with our platform. By subscribing, you authorize JKitchenCooks and our payment processors to automatically bill your payment method on a recurring weekly basis.

3. Weekly Menu & Automated Selection

To maintain a high-end culinary experience, JKitchenCooks features a rotating weekly menu sourced from our "Our Menu" collection.

  • Customers select a predefined quantity of meals based on their chosen plan size.

  • While our system pre-selects meals for convenience, customers maintain the ability to review and swap their meal selections prior to their weekly cutoff.

  • We reserve the right to change menu items, ingredients, or nutritional specifications at any time based on ingredient availability and seasonality.

4. Order Cutoff & Delivery Logistics

Because our meals are highly perishable and prepared fresh, we adhere to strict logistical timelines.

  • Delivery Schedule: All recurring deliveries are dispatched and delivered exclusively on Sundays.

  • Weekly Cutoff: The strict cutoff for all orders, subscription modifications, and cancellations is Friday at 5:00 PM local time.

  • Processing Rule: Orders placed or modified before Friday at 5:00 PM will be delivered on the immediate upcoming Sunday. Orders placed or modified after Friday at 5:00 PM will automatically roll over to the following week's Sunday delivery.

5. Dietary Requirements & Allergens

We strive to accommodate standard dietary restrictions and maintain transparency regarding our ingredients.

  • Allergen Selection: During the checkout process, customers are prompted to declare any dietary requirements and may select from common allergens (including but not limited to Celery, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Gluten, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame, Soya, and Sulphites).

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their allergen selections are accurate and up-to-date in their account settings. These selections are attached to your weekly order to guide our kitchen staff.

  • Cross-Contamination: While we take strict precautions and utilize high-quality sourcing, our meals are prepared in a facility that handles major allergens. We cannot entirely guarantee the prevention of cross-contamination for severe, life-threatening allergies.

6. Modifications & Pricing

  • The prices for our tiered meal plans (6, 8, 10, 12, and 15 meals) are set and fixed.

  • JKitchenCooks reserves the right to modify the prices of our subscription plans, meals, or delivery fees at any time. Active subscribers will be notified in advance of any pricing changes affecting their recurring billing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JKitchenCooks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service or products. Our liability for any claim related to a specific curated box or order shall not exceed the purchase price of that specific weekly delivery. Nutritional information (calories and macros) provided on our website or packaging is an estimate; actual nutritional values may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our premium meals.
